April 2016

5/4/2016

April has been a really busy month for me, which is always nice!  I have just recently celebrated my birthday and it was really lovely, I was thoroughly spoilt by my friends and family all day.

My husband took me out to a great seafood restaurant that I've had my eye on for some time called Chapmans in the evening.  I had prawns to start and, as it was my birthday, I had a delicious lobster thermodore for mains - all washed down with a few glasses of bubbles,  perfect!

Work wise, I made a cameo appearance in a new little film called Almost Gone, Never Forgotten set in the 1980s.  My character was the lead male's mistress so I got to play something full of intrigue! It was shot at a beautiful location too, below are a couple of screen grabs from the day and the location. :)
Talking of locations, I had the pleasure of working at this stunning location last week filming a corporate job for Hisense. It was a great couple of days with a really nice little team! Unfortunately I was unable to take pictures of the set but here are couple of pics from the day below
Lastly, I've been doing some voiceover work recently, the great thing about VO work is it doesn't matter what you look like so you can just turn up and do your thing...as you can see below ;)  On this occasion I was extolling the virtues of a new type of flange on industrial piping systems, acting really does take you to new places everyday!  A couple of pics of me in action :)
Thanks for reading and I'll be blogging again soon

Much love and good health to you all xxxxx
