Hi all, I cannot believe we are in March already, where has the time gone? There's one thing for sure, I can't wait for the lighter evenings and sunshine so we can crack out the BBQ once more! I was honoured the other week to be asked to write a piece for cervical screening awareness. Cancer and women's issues are subjects I hold very close to my heart and it was a pleasure to be able to help in anyway that I can. Please feel free to share if you are on FB or Twitter. It would mean a lot. :) I am delighted to announce that the short film Ghost Nets, that was finished this January with my husband, has now been put forward for festival admission. Mark is an exceptionally hardworking man and I am so proud of what he has achieved with this film. It took a lot of dedication and commitment and I hope it flies at the festivals not just for him and me but for everyone involved. Please take a look at the latest reviews below. Blazing Minds Review Battle Royale With Cheese Review Back to the Movies Review I also completed my filming on horror film The Neighbours last week, I got to work with some great actors such as my gorgeous friend Sarah Langton! It was a real pleasure but I do feel it's time (judging by the pictures below) that I had a more glamorous role please...soon! 😜😜 Talking of glamour I took part in a nice little photo shoot last week for some possible new head shots. My friend Paul is just starting out so he hired a studio and we took a few pics! I was really pleased with the result. Here are a couple of pics from the shoot below. I also had a wonderful Mother's Day with my family. My Nan saw her last Mother's Day last year so we all made sure we remembered her with much love. I still miss her so very much and think regularly of the advice she used to give me when the acting world got tough. My own Mum is simply the best, if I can be half the Mum to Hugo as she was to us then I know we'll end up doing a fantastic job! My boys spoilt me this year with flowers and a home spa, I even had some breakfast in bed too :) I am due to film a 1950's film next week, I only have a small part so I am only in for one day's filming but work is work right?! 😘🎬
Thanks for reading Much love, C xxxxx Comments are closed.
