Another busy few weeks for me, always seems a lot busier when you are trying to juggle work and motherhood all whilst doing your damn best at being a domestic goddess too.. 😜
I would say auditioning is where an actor really earns their money, it can be fun, gruelling, joyful and demoralising...sometimes all in a single day! There are many different types of audition too - from acting auditions to commercial and corporate video auditions, all requiring you to go into a different part of your acting toolbox. It's a craft and for me I'm always learning , always trying to get better. It can be very demanding learning lines and getting that focus right for a short period of time in an audition room. Never the less I love what I do so I will ( hopefully ) always be doing it!
I'm lucky that I get to do a variety of different things, I had a photoshoot the other week which was great fun - it was for a fitness company promoting a healthier lifestyle! I got to stand around and cook up some nice food whilst also reaping the benefits of being able to eat some afterwards! A few pics below :-
I was also delighted that Ghost Nets ( a film I did last year that my hubby Directed) is doing so well on the festival circuit. The film will be premiering in New York on August 11th and we have just found out that we will be in competition for Best Short Film at the prestigious Two Cliffs International Film Festival in Kent! Fingers crossed for a winner :) From an actor's point of view it is always great to see a project you were involved in fly, knowing I'll be on the big screen in the Big Apple is a buzz and makes the freezing cold days on the set worth it!
Poster below with a rather windswept lady on the front of it :p
Recently I did a shoot for an interactive experience that will be based in Kent. My role is playing the Commander, telling the gamers what to do! It was great fun and hopefully the experience should be open soon. A couple of pics below.
Before I sign off im excited to be doing a shoot in Milan in the next couple of weeks! I'll make sure I take plenty of pics and if you fancy following me on Twitter you can @cmounter I'm not that interesting but my job can be 😜
Thanks for reading.
Much love xxxxx
