As always, I've had a busy few weeks since I last blogged and what a few weeks it has been! I am delighted to say I have been cast in a new pilot for a comedy series, filming for me doesn't start until September but I am so excited to get started and have read some of the scripts (and all I will say is it's very funny- lets hope it's a success!). I've been working on a great film called The Neighbour, directed by Mark Vella, and I will be working alongside horror great Lynn Lowry and my friend Sarah Langton. I have filmed a test scene already and filmed my interview with the director...links below if you fancy taking a look!
On the audition front I have been very busy with acting castings, on Friday I went up for a part in a Bollywood feature film, I think the audition went well but with these things you never really know, I just audition and then try not to think about it (easier said than done I know)!
I am, however, delighted to say I after auditioning I got a part in another great film called My Ghost and will be directed by the talented Luke Collins. Watch this space for more info!
We have recently come back from a family holiday to Butlins in Bognor Regis. We had a fantastic time and Hugo had a blast! I was a Redcoat there for the Summer season in '99 and 2000 and Minehead in 1998. I met one of my best friends there and I highly recommend it as a holiday for anybody with a young family. Some pics below..
Before I sign off and with a very heavy heart my colleague and friend Michelle Watt has recently been laid to rest. It is so tragic and I keep re-reading the messages that we sent to one another. She was full of love, warmth and charisma. My heart goes out to her husband, daughter, parents, family and friends at this awful time. Sleep tight Michelle. 💗
